Join the Federation of Ethical Stage Hypnotists.
FESH is the Professional Body which represents Stage Hypnotists in the United Kingdom and is frequently contacted by Local Authorities and Public Bodies regarding licensing, background checks and matters relating to the public performance of hypnotism.
FESH has an elected Council of Professional Stage Hypnotists that enables the smooth running of the organisation.
FESH invites Professional Stage Hypnotists and aspiring Stage Hypnotists or those with an interest in Stage Hypnosis to join.

Full Membership
Full Membership of FESH is available to suitably competent Stage Hypnotists and confers all the benefits of being a member of FESH, including:
• Opportunity to be part of a professionally recognised organisation solely devoted to Stage Hypnosis;
• Access to help and advice;
• Opportunity to connect and network with other members;
• Listing on our online Stage Hypnotist Register;
• Access to Council Minutes;
• Access to FESH’s Insurance Broker;
• Be advised of any work enquiries placed via FESH Website;
• Right to include statement of FESH membership and FESH logo on publicity;
• Right to declare membership of FESH in licence applications;
• Enhanced credibility and standing with outside bodies:
• Right to attend the AGM;
• Eligibility to stand for Council;
• Full voting rights within FESH.

Full Membership is £100.00 per year.
Full Membership Joining Procedure
The candidate must:
• Provide information regarding venues played, to include 10 dates in 5 different venues.
• Provide unedited video footage of their show or arrange for a Member of Council to watch a live show.
• Disclose any occasion on which a Local Council has refused them a licence to perform hypnosis, or imposed special conditions other than the standard conditions laid down in the Home Office Guidelines.
• Provide a written statement describing the training in hypnosis they have received, and any books, courses, or videos which have influenced their performance style and philosophy of hypnosis.
The Administrator will acknowledge receipt of the application and circulate it to all the members of the Council for their comments.
If the Council agrees to accept the application the candidate will be required to pay a joining fee of £25 plus the membership fee (pro rata) for the rest of the calendar year in which they join.
The candidate shall also provide a DBS check dated less than three months previously.
The candidate shall then be admitted to full membership of FESH.

Associate Membership
Associate Membership of FESH is available to aspiring Stage Hypnotists or those with an interest in Stage Hypnosis.
The only exception would be anyone who has been previously who is deemed by the Council to be likely to bring FESH into disrepute.

• Enhanced credibility and standing with outside bodies:

Associate membership is £20 per year.
Being an Associate does not imply endorsement, confer voting rights, nor allow the use of the FESH name or logo.
Associate Membership Joining Procedure
Candidates should describe their level of expertise and experience in Stage Hypnotism.
The Administrator will acknowledge receipt of the application and circulate it to all the members of the Council for their comments.
If the Council agrees to accept the application Associate Membership will be granted for one year on receipt of the sum of £20.00.
At the end of the first year, Associate Members may renew their Associate Membership for a further year on payment of a further £20.00.
It is expected that Associate Members will progress to Full Membership within this time. After two years the Council will review the Associate’s membership, and may, at their discretion, extend it.
If an Associate Member is elevated to Full Membership, the fee already paid for any remaining time as an Associate shall be credited (pro rata) against the joining fee.
