The Federation of Ethical Stage Hypnotists does not offer training in hypnosis and unfortunately we are unable to offer advice on any specific courses.

If you are keen to learn the art of hypnosis it is important that you gain a thorough grounding in its theory and practice. There are many schools of hypnotherapy in the UK and throughout the world who offer training and this may be a route for you to start. However, stage hypnosis is a totally different subject, and will require other skills such as showmanship and theatrical experience.
It is also important that you understand the legislation in regards to performing stage hypnosis in the UK and are able to comply with the regulations as set in the 1952 Hypnotism Act and the Home Office Guidelines.

We recommend you read as much as you can on the subject of hypnosis and theatre if you are looking to make a career of stage hypnosis. You may find training courses and seminars around the world and all of this can add to your education. As a stage hypnotist you must have a solid understanding of the subject if you wish to become an expert and this will only come through diligent study and practice.
